Blackholes idea…

I Dream In Code: oh I had a new idea!
I Dream In Code: somehow…
I Dream In Code: put a black-hole inside of a very massive obect…
I Dream In Code: like lead, or heavy steal…
I Dream In Code: and have the blackhole be strong enough to take all the heat energy away from metal, but not compact on itself
I Dream In Code: then we’d have a CONSTANT source of cooling, in every house
I Dream In Code: you could use it in cars instead of a catalytic convertor
I Dream In Code: now I just need to figure out how to make a black hole be stable enough to be put into another object and not kill itself
I Dream In Code: or all of mankind

I know… it needs work. :o)

Huh. Didn’t they do that in the Michael Crichton book, “SPHERE” only the scientists accidentally drop the black hole into the center of the Earth, threatening to destroy everything? LOL. It’s a great idea.

Why don’t you come up with something useful like a box you bread into and toast comes out? Or maybe you can produce the gift that is bannayomaise.

  3. matt.s says:

    mmmmm. I would prefer chunky.

but what would happen to that energy? it can’t just disappear… unless you found a loophole in the first law of thermodynamics… you should be a lawyer then.

  5. Well, a black hole is formed from the death of a star 25-50 times the size of our Sun. But if we wanted a small black hole to form a perpetual cooler, we’d need to get a much smaller star. So, if my calculations are right… let’s see, x^2 x 2x + 4 factored, minus P^eRT divided by the system of a down… well we’d need a very small star… perhaps Pauly Shore. We’d have to kill him, then encase him in lead and wait for the black hole to form. Let’s do it!

  6. miguel says:

You’d need a way to mass produce them too!
