The subway was very clean, quick and smooth but the maps are the WORST I have ever seen! You have to know where each of the stations are because they don’t correspond with any streets. I hated getting around in DC.
It was HOT. I mean HOT in DC. I don’t think I have been more unconfortable walking around ANYWHERE than in DC these few days. 115 degree weather in LA is much better than 90 with 80% humidity.
It’s good to be back in LA now.
Saw the Lincoln Memorial at night.
