Ugolino and His Sons, modeled ca. 1860–61, executed in marble 1865–67
Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux (French, 1827–1875)
A day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
I was very pleased that they let us take pictures of the artwork, that's rare for museums.
This guy was sketching the statue. Really nice work he was doing.

Rebecca, please forgive them for they know not what they do.
Mom and Dad
You are staying at the community shelters again? I hate poor people.
