‘digg it’ button problems with IE autologing out!

For us IE users, whenever you goto a site with a digg it button, it automatically logs me out of digg when I come back to digg! it’s EXTREMELY frustrating.

When I see a “digg it” button on someone’s site, I KNOW that I can’t click it because my account will already have been logged out, even if I have JUST logged in.

Rocket Science…

Many of you might be wondering what I have been up to the last several months… I’ve been busy programming a sequencer to shoot off test rockets horizontally in the desert and we finally launched our first test. It was BEAUTIFUL. Everyone was extremely happy and my oh my it went fast. If I get approval from them, I’ll try and get a picture up online, but don’t hold your breath.

Hello from Alaska

Yes, I’m out and about again.
Jenny and Anthony in the sunset (Anthony and Jenny in the sunset)

P.S. The reason there are no more pictures is that Alaska is home to BIG Mountains, BEAUTIFUL sunsets, pristine water…. but really slow internet access. I’m having a great time out here, thanks for asking. :)

Local Activist at a school board meeting…

I saw this on TV yesterday and I was really blown away by how passionate, well spoken and organized a person can be at a local school board meeting where the city wants to build a school for $50 million but the school enrollment is not 1/2 of where it should be.

I am almost inspired enough to go get involved in my local politics.

Props to Christine Peters.

Dreaming in Code

Ok, I was just about done watching Colbert, and trolling on digg and reddit, went to bed, I know it’s late, 3+am but I’m laying there and instead of waiting to dream in code, all the code I’ve been thinking about all day just shoots into my head. Guess I need to do it right now instead.

For those who don’t know my current projects, I’m working on a colored cement mixing program. There are 4, 8000 lb containers of different colors that get mixed in one hopper. My program gives the user a drop down list to choose his color, how much cement, and then sends it into the cement truck.

That is one… there are others. Now back to work.
